Comenius University in Bratislava is a modern European university, the only Slovak higher education institution that is regularly ranked among the top best universities in the world. UC offers a wide range of specialties from medicine to the humanities and social sciences, from natural sciences, mathematics to theology.

The main mission of the Comenius University Faculty of Medicine is to graduate physicians who embrace their profession first and foremost as a vocation. Teaching of general medicine and dentistry takes place in Slovak for free and in English for a fee. The faculty provides higher education in the field of undergraduate, postgraduate studies in the form of specialization training programs, training courses and doctoral studies.

The Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University (LFUK) offers applicants materials to prepare for the entrance exams in biology and chemistry.
For applicants to general medicine and dentistry, LFUK is running an online preparatory course in biology and chemistry, which will run every Saturday from 10 January 2026 to 25 April 2026.

Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava provides higher education at all three levels of study, both full-time and part-time. More than forty specialized subjects are taught in English. 1. Law
The main requirement for admission to the 1st level (bachelor's degree) is complete secondary general education or complete secondary vocational education.
It is assumed that upon submitting an application, the applicant already has a command of the Slovak language at a level sufficient for successful study in the program, and knows one additional foreign language (English, German or French) at a level not lower than B2.
The written entrance exam in Slovak includes:
a social studies test focusing primarily on the fundamentals of law, philosophy, economics and entrepreneurship (as part of the state educational program);
history test (as part of the state educational program).

2. Economics and Law
The written entrance exam in Slovak includes:
General Academic Prerequisites Test (with an emphasis on the fundamentals of economics);

Introductory campaign
The main condition for admission to the 1st level of study (bachelor's degree) is the possession of a complete general secondary education or a complete secondary vocational education.
Applicants to all educational programs in the Faculty of Natural Sciences will be accepted without entrance examinations, provided the number of applications submitted does not exceed the planned number of places. If there are more applications than the program's capacity allows, the selection process will be conducted in two stages.
At the first stage, applicants will be admitted without examinations if at least one of the following conditions is met:
the presence of specialized subjects at school and good academic results (average grade for grades 1–3 of high school, grades in specialized subjects not lower than 2);
provision of a SCIO testing certificate in specialized subjects (before May 15 of the 2025/2026 academic year).
In the second stage, candidates who have not been admitted previously will take written entrance tests.
Additional conditions:
To be admitted, international applicants must have sufficient Slovak language proficiency for their studies. Foreign applicants must pass a Slovak language entrance test and, if their proficiency is insufficient, complete an intensive Slovak language course before the start of the semester. Applicants with a Slovak language certificate (minimum level B1) are exempt from the entrance test and must only submit documents confirming their language proficiency with their application.
A condition for admission to educational programs conducted in English is knowledge of English at a level that allows instruction in this language.

Pharmaceutical

The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Comenius University is the only pharmaceutical faculty in Slovakia. Graduates of the faculty occupy important and leadership positions in various institutions in the country and abroad. The Faculty operates two of its own pharmacies, the University Pharmacy and the Faculty of Pharmacy, which serve both for teaching and as public health facilities. The Faculty also has an active Slovak Association of Student Pharmacists, which has a wide range of activities and prepares events for future pharmacists every semester.

Admission without exams is possible subject to the corresponding average grade for the last years of study:
for the specialty “Therapeutic and diagnostic means”, the average score for grades 8–11 must be 1.75 or lower (according to the Slovak equivalent);
For the specialty “Pharmacy”, the average score for grades 8–11 must be 1.18 or lower, and for the subjects chemistry and biology, the grades must not be higher than 2 (according to the Slovak equivalent).

education and sports
The purpose of the faculty is to train specialists in physical education and sports and conduct research in the field of sports sciences. Initially, the faculty trained more physical education teachers than coaches, but now it’s the other way around – coaching is of interest. Faculty of Management
The Faculty of Management became the first faculty specializing in teaching management and began working in the field of management. The objective of the faculty is to prepare high-quality and competitive graduates who are able to work in teams or occupy leadership positions in organizations of various types based on the knowledge acquired. The Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava is the youngest faculty. Teaching takes place in Slovak and English. Students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience, learning to use them in both professional and personal life. As part of its scientific activities, the faculty implements large European projects and grants in cooperation with private companies.

The main condition for admission to the 1st level of study (bachelor's degree) is the possession of a complete general secondary education or a complete secondary vocational education.
Additional conditions:
Applicants to the Applied Economics, Media Studies, and Social Anthropology programs must demonstrate proficiency in English:
— the results of the SCIO test (valid from 1.09.2025) in the form of a certificate - level B1 with a minimum percentile of 30, or
— a language certificate of at least level B1 from the list of authorized institutions, or
— a certificate from a secondary school, if the applicant graduated from a school with instruction in English.
Applicants to the Social and Industrial Psychology program are required to:
- pass the SCIO test on general prerequisites for learning;
— confirm knowledge of English with the SCIO test at level B1.
The faculty accepts the first six testing terms.
For the European Studies and Social and Occupational Psychology programmes (English-taught, fee-paying programme), candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency at level B2.

Bachelor's degree - applications are accepted until 31.3.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), price - 40 euros.
Master's degree – applications are accepted until 31.3.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), cost – 40 euros.
Doctoral studies - applications are accepted until 30.4.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), price - 40 euros.
