About the educational institution

The Slovak Technical University in Bratislava is a modern, research and educational institution. STU Bratislava offers technical education for students from different CIS countries. The university is known for its research in the fields of natural and computer sciences, civil engineering, architecture, chemistry, food or materials technology. The university's scientific staff participates in international projects funded by grants. 

At the international level, STU has concluded a number of cooperation agreements with foreign universities, faculties and research institutes. University graduates are among the most sought-after and highly paid workers in the labor market.

Faculty of Civil Engineering

Among the graduates of the faculty there are a number of specialists who have forever entered the history of Slovak construction. This is evidenced by the buildings, which to this day inspire admiration for their design and aesthetics. The Faculty of Civil Engineering is the only one in Slovakia that offers training in the field of water resources and water management. The faculty also provides training at one of 75 prestigious universities outside of Slovakia.

and food technologies

For more than 10 years, the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technologies has been considered the best technical faculty in Slovakia. At the moment, there is no university in the country with such a wide range of education in this area. Organic and inorganic production; biotechnology, biochemistry and biomedicine; quality of food, nutrition and cosmetics; protection of cultural heritage and many other educational programs that the faculty offers to applicants. The study of chemistry and modern chemical technologies provides answers to questions about the health, safety and future of our planet. Students have the opportunity to receive a scholarship during their studies of up to € 2,000, and thanks to the Erasmus program they can study abroad for free and also receive a scholarship.

Faculty of Architecture

The Faculty of Architecture and Design is part of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, as a leading institution with educational, scientific, artistic and design activities in the field of architecture, urbanism and design. and information technology

The Faculty comprehensively covers the field of computer science and information technology in education and research. It is the only faculty in Slovakia and the Czech Republic that has accredited study programs from the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). Statistics show that FEI is one of the best faculties in Central Europe. Among all graduates of Slovak universities, the largest number of faculty graduates work in their field (up to 94%). The demand for IT specialists is confirmed by the high starting salary, which is constantly increasing.

The Faculty of Materials Technology in Trnava is the site of the first university science park in Slovakia. The Faculty received the title of Finalist of the National Quality Award of the Slovak Republic in 2008 in the category of public sector organizations, and is the most successful faculty in Slovakia in receiving funding from grant programs.

Department of Management

The Department of Management is a teaching, research and work place of the Slovak Technical University, which provides scientific research and teaching activities in the field of management and planning in cooperation with faculties and other work places of universities and academies.
