About the educational institution
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice offers education at the European level, based on educational programs accredited to European standards. The university graduates specialists with a high level of education in the fields of: “canine science”, “feed and food safety”, “animal science”, “human-animal communication” as well as “general veterinary medicine”, “food hygiene”.
University graduates are in demand specialists on the Slovak labor market due to the uniqueness of their specialization.

Introductory campaign
The main condition for admission to a bachelor's degree is the presence of complete general secondary education or complete secondary vocational education.
Admission without exams*
*For the specialty “Pharmaceutics”, “General Veterinary Medicine” and “Food Hygiene” an entrance exam is conducted in the form of a written test in biology and chemistry (70 questions).
Application deadlines
Bachelor's degree - applications accepted until March 31, 2023, cost - 40 euros
Master's degree - applications accepted until 05/31/2024, cost - 40 euros
Bachelor's degree + Master's degree - applications accepted until 03/31/2024, cost - 40 euros
