About the educational institution
The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice offers education at the European level, based on educational programs accredited to European standards. The university graduates specialists with a high level of education in the fields of: “canine science”, “feed and food safety”, “animal science”, “human-animal communication” as well as “general veterinary medicine”, “food hygiene”.

Introductory campaign
The main condition for admission to a bachelor's degree is the presence of complete general secondary education or complete secondary vocational education.
Admission without exams*
Entrance exams: Veterinary nurse – admission based on a written test in the specialized subject of biology within the scope of the school curriculum of the gymnasium.
Pharmacy, food hygiene, general veterinary medicine – a written test on the core subjects of biology and chemistry within the scope of the school curriculum of the gymnasium.

Bachelor's degree - applications accepted from 01.01.2025 to 31.03.2025, fee - 40 euros
Master's degree - applications accepted until 31.05.2025, cost - 40 euros
