About the educational institution

The University of Economics in Bratislava is one of the best universities in the world with a focus on economic education programs that have received the prestigious AACSB accreditation. The only university in Slovakia that provides comprehensive education in economics and management in all study programs and at all three levels of study. 

Thanks to mobility, students have the opportunity to spend part of their studies at prestigious partner universities abroad.

One of the most successful economic faculties in Slovakia. In addition to the study programs accredited by the Faculty, the Faculty also offers joint study programs with the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University - Economics and Law and Economics. At the master's level, the faculty also provides the opportunity to study various programs in English. Foreign mobility of students and teachers contributes to the development of international cooperation, as well as the improvement of the work of the faculty.

The main condition for admission to the 1st level (bachelor) is the presence of complete general secondary education or complete secondary vocational education.

You must pass a written test of your knowledge of the Slovak language.

Exams:

– Written test to verify general training requirements

– Written test from one of the foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian)

For the specialty “Economics and Law,” 4 written tests are carried out: checking the general requirements for training (basics of economics and economics), from one of the foreign languages, history and social science, logic.

*Specialty “Economics and Law” application cost is 60 euros and you must submit a separate application.

The Faculty of Commerce and Industry of the University of Economics in Bratislava is an educational and research institute that provides education in scientific disciplines related to trade. The faculty prepares specialists for internships in international business and industrial organizations, as well as in government agencies.

Faculty of Economic Informatics

The faculty prepares future economists focused on working with all types of socio-economic information. The main goal of the faculty is to prepare social and economic strategies, make decisions when problems arise and develop forecasts in the socio-economic sphere. Graduates of the faculty are employed as analysts, statisticians and forecasters, managers, auditors, accountants, and often work in high positions of public administration.

The initial orientation of the faculty was aimed at managing industry and agriculture; currently, the teaching and research activities of the faculty are focused on the management of all types of enterprises. The faculty is organized into 5 departments - the department of business economics, management, business finance, production and logistics management, and the department of information management.

relations

The Faculty of International Relations was created as the youngest department of the University of Economics. The main mission of the faculty is quality education, which includes training specialists in international economic relations, world economy, international law, relations of the European Union, international political problems of modern diplomatic practice, protocol. Particular attention is paid to language training.

applied languages

The main objective of the faculty is to provide quality education, which includes a high level of communicative competence in two foreign languages, the fundamentals of economics, law and certain disciplines of the social sciences. The faculty focuses on the development of language skills and abilities. Intercultural communication and interdisciplinary approaches to the issue under study are among the features of the educational process that allow graduates of the faculty to be widely used in the labor market. Mastering foreign languages and acquiring bicultural or multicultural competence expands one's opportunities in searching for a prestigious job.

business in Kosice

The Faculty of Business Economics in Kosice trains future economists for business and government agencies. The faculty's curriculum is focused on the needs of the labor market, where highly qualified specialists will be in demand. According to recent data, the faculty has become the most important center in the eastern Slovak region in the field of training economists and managers for the needs of enterprises, companies and other institutions.
