About the educational institution
Dnepersk gymnasium is a private secondary educational institution specializing in programming and computer science, with intensive teaching of foreign languages and mathematics. The gymnasium participates in international competitions and projects, and also cooperates with many universities. The gymnasium employs only qualified teachers who use innovative technologies in the educational process.
The school is considered a family type, each student receives an individual approach. The main advantage of the gymnasium is the opportunity to continue your studies abroad with further employment.
Education after 11th grade
Admission after 11th grade to the IT specialty:
The applicant must be no older than 23 years old.
Exams:
- An interview to determine the applicant's motivation, his basic overview of logical thinking. The interviews are conducted by representatives of IT companies with which the gymnasium cooperates, in English, so the language level must be B1.
- Written assignments on specialized subjects.
The training lasts 3 years.
The first stage is 1.5 years of full-time theoretical training: programming, English, professional subjects (testing, web technologies, software taught by specialists from companies, university teachers), economic disciplines, seminar on final work.
The second stage is 1.5 years of internship in an IT company (internship with a scholarship): daily work experience in IT companies, possible cooperation in specific projects, even for monetary compensation, if successful, the opportunity to sign a future employment contract during training.
The training ends with a final exam and a defense thesis.
Training is free due to funding from IT companies.
Accommodation, food and other personal expenses are additionally paid.
Exam dates:
1st round: 02.05.2025 and 03.05.2025
2nd round: 06.05.2025 and 07.05.2025
Application submission dates:
After 11th grade – until 20.03.2025
